Definition of Sodium humate;
Sodium humate is the salt of humic acid, made from high grade leonardite via alkaline extraction.
Leonardite originates from the chemical and biological humification of plant matter combined with the high biological activity of microorganisms. Its widely used as feed additive in livestock, water treatment agent in aquaculture and ceramic industry.

Application of sodium humate use in poultry feed

1: Enhance animal immunity and Increase the feed convension thus stimulate the growth
Humic acid contains various nutrients such as amino acids, trace elements and vitamins, and natural active ingredients such as inositol and polysaccharide. It can directly participate in the body’s metabolism, promote the secretion of animal glands, activate the activity of various enzymes in the body, and change the permeability of cell membranes, which can reduces the risk of diarrhea in the first month and improves vitality, Increase appetite thus improve feed convension. It is good to use in poultry feed in chicken, swine, cow to increase the output of the egg and meat.

2: Sodium humate consider as an alternative to organic antibiotic growth promoters.
As we all know, antibiotics is widely used in the livestock husbandry and aquaculture field, animal manure is always to reuse to improve soil quality and crop yield in the rural area, which caused serious pollution to the soil, groundwater and human body, and seriously affecting the environment and food safety.Experiments shows that sodium humate effectively improve the immunity of livestock and poultry, and reduce the use of antibiotics in feed, sodium humate does not kill the bacteria directly, but to induces the body to produce interferon to enhances the body’s immune function. And then have great effect of anti-bacteria without any side effects. Another function is to reduce the ammonia emission by Neutralizad reaction since the sodium humate is alkaline substance.

Application of sodium humate use in aquaculture

1: Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory agent for the shrimp, fish or crab, Improve the water quality and raise the quality of aquatic products.
Sodium humate can chelate/complex heavy metals like(arsenic, lead, copper, mercury, zinc, etc.), hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, nitrogen and other toxic and harmful substances in water which  improve the water quality and provide a healthy environmental for fish ,crab, shrimp seedlings.  then quality of aquatic products is greatly improved. It is applicable to breeding of shrimp, crab and finish.

2: Second its to imporve the survial rate of the fish or shrimp in the long distance tranportation due to wound healing ability.

3: Third Its also used as coloring agent of fihished feed as liquid of sodium humate is black. Below is the different shape of sodium humate that apply in different breeding area.
